508 Donation

You can make a difference with a tax-deductible donation to a 508 church, home fellowship, or ministry.

Our ultimate goal is to provide our 508 Members with consulting, practical resources, grants, and legal representation when necessary. Everything we do flows from our core mission of supporting churches, fellowships, and congregations who have boldly decided to exercise their religious right to establish and operate tax-exempt under IRC Section 508(c)(1)(A).

The 508 Company Foundation

When you contribute a donation or sponsorship to The 508 Company Foundation donor-advised fund (DAF), you can receive an immediate tax deduction even though the grant will be paid to an organization at a later date. You can recommend your contribution be granted to a specific organization during checkout.

The 508 Company performs due diligence on every grant recommendation to ensure that your grant money will be used to support qualified, verified, and compliant organizations established under Section 508(c)(1)(A). You can make single or recurring contributions, either with recognition or with total anonymity.

About The 508 Company

We help churches and religious organizations establish their nonprofits under Section 508(c)(1)(A) — the right way. Our membership focuses on compliance while enhancing accountability, stewardship, and trust in 508 churches and ministries.

Unfortunately, and unlawfully in our opinion, most grants, nonprofit discounts, and other nonprofit perks are only available to organizations who have applied to receive a tax-exempt determination letter from the IRS. This excludes thousands of churches, home fellowships, and religious organizations who have boldly decided to exercise their religious right to establish and operate without the interference of the IRS.

“The I.R.S. examined 1.4 million individual income tax returns in 2010, about 1 percent of the total number filed. In 2018, the latest year with available data when Republicans started making these claims, audits decreased to 370,000, or about 0.2 percent… The budget office estimated increasing I.R.S. funding would return enforcement to its 2010 levels. Doing so would result in about 1.2 million more audits; of those, 583,000 would target people making less than $75,000.”

“…For example, you educate believers on national issues that are central to their belief in the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. Specifically, you educate Christians on what the bible says in areas where they can be instrumental including the areas of sanctity of life, the definition of marriage, biblical justice, freedom of speech, defense, and borders and immigration, U.S. and Israel relations. The bible teachings are typically affiliated with the Republican party and candidates. This disqualifies you from exemption under IRC Section 501(c)(3).”
